Cleansing your face after a long day out with or without make up is the MOST important and the BEST gift you can give to your skin. Make sure you wash off that dirt and residue that may trap bacteria that will help you prevent the chance of breakouts due to clogged pores.
As the first step of the so-popular Korean ‘double cleansing’ method use an oil-based cleanser to dissolve the day’s makeup, sunscreen, excess oil and sebum. Massage 1-2 pumps of an oil-based cleanser onto your dry face and neck. Then add a splash of lukewarm water to emulsify, and massage again, rinsing everything away. This step is best implemented in the night time routine or to remove that stubborn make up.
For your morning routine or as the second step of the ‘double cleansing’ method (after your oil- based cleanser) use a water-based cleanser (AKA foam and gel). It will gently lift dirt and residue washing it off the skin. Apply a water-based cleanser onto wet palms and create a fine lather before applying on to your face. Gently wash your skin avoiding excessing hugging on the skin and rinse with lukewarm water. Dry your face with a fresh towel.
