Wash-Off Masks and Scrubs

Stubborn dead skin and clogged pores can affect skin absorption but exfoliating your skin will help your skin absorb better and allow the products to work more effectively. Use a gentle scrub or a peeling gel to get rid off dead skin cells, clogged pores and promote cell turnover. Exfoliating regularly will noticeably make it easier to continue with the rest of your skin care routine. Gently massage scrub or a peeling gel into dry (or wet depending on personal preference and skin sensitivity) skin and leave it on for 5-15 minutes, then rinse with lukewarm water.

Another great way to fight clogged pores is clay masks. They are designed for oily and combination skin types and concerns such as blackheads and excess sebum. In the summer or humid weather deep cleanse your skin using a clay mask to help you draw out debts from pores. Apply a clay mask after the cleansing step all over your face, leave it on for 10-15 minutes then rinse with lukewarm water.
